Designer Whitney Pozgay Unveils Whit Spring/Summer 2015 At NYFW
Whit hosted an intimate presentation at the Onishi Project Pop-up Gallery in Chelsea. The four displayed looks took their inspiration from the creations hanging on the walls just behind the models. Designer Whitney Pozgay was on hand to greet guests and speak to the vision that sparked her playful, casual pieces with a designer twist. Whit’s SS15 is all about maxi dresses, skirts, and art-inspired graphic tees. The models were placed throughout the gallery as though they themselves were sculptures. Revelers were able to snack on hors d’oeuvres and sip Cointreau cocktails while they snapped photos. Though the space was small, it more than complimented the impactful collection. Individuals in attendance were encouraged to take a parting gift: a handful of confetti to go out and create some art of their own in the world.
