Brooklyn-based label Cadet presented the modern nomad for its Spring/Summer 2015 collection. Created for the globe-trotter that works from his laptop and smartphone while treating the world as his office the assortment highlighted versatile-travel –friendly pieces in a neutral color palette of grey, olive, stone and black. Cadet is cognizant of his customer and the advances of technology and travel and presented suit separates in relaxed wool blends and cotton jersey knits for overnight trips to straight to meetings without missing a beat. This was well-defined in a jersey blend blazer in deep blue styled with a waistband pant with elastic bottom in the same fabric and a mixed media tank top. Another highlight was a nylon flight parka and jacket combo in steel-blue paired with steel- blue nylon flight pants with full size zippers.

Mercedes Benz New York Fashion Week: Parkchoonmoo Spring 2015

Set to rhythmic electronic beats, Parkchoonmoo introduced the MBFW Pavilion crowd to a stunning Spring/Summer 2015 collection. In an elegant statement, the collection was largely monochromatic and neutral with many looks showcased in black and white with the occasional blocked print or brown accent. Many of the season’s recurring themes (leather, sheer overlay, draping silhouettes) were present in this collection as well but executed with an understated refinement that helped make the collection feel extremely cohesive instead of one that was chasing after trend. All of the looks were paired with modern variations of an open-toed espadrille. Parkchoonmoo’s vision of SS15 is one that’s simultaneously chic and forward thinking.
